G-Star at Bread and Butter Show 2011

Berlin is currently hosting the Bread and Butter Show, a great chance to showcase the latest looks. The Bread and Butter show comes around twice a year and the January show is generally seen as kicking off the new year. The B&B show lets brands present themselves with little restraint allowing versatile and creative displays. This was the case for G-Star RAW, now universally known as one of the biggest names in denim G-Star’s show unveiled the latest Marc Newson collection along with a further evolution of the 3-D denim designs. Expect to see a new version of the G-Star Arc Pants and the new Charlie Loose Tapered. The traditional five pocket design is also set for a revamp with the Buillit Pant offering a triple stitched waistband, rubberised detail and a triangular back seam insert.

Expanding on last years G-Star Organics range are a number of new T-Shirts made from environmentally sustainable cotton. The company are also expanding their ethical offerings with G-star RAW Nettle Jeans and RAW Recycled Orange Label which blends post-consumer denim waste that has been broken down into cotton fibres then mixed with Organic cotton to give it a second life.

Expect to hear plenty about the Dutch designers in the next few weeks as the new collection begins to roll out. With Fallen Hero being one of the biggest G-Star stockists online their is a massive range of different styles appearing everyday. The latest are a series of G-Star RAW T-Shirts such as the G-Star Hawkeye T-Shirt and the G-Star Lincoln T-Shirt. The Hawkeye T-Shirt is a classic cotton crew neck top with traditional bold G-Star print across the chest. The Lincoln is another crew neck design and features 3301 branding on the chest. Available in grey, indigo and white expect these are a great everyday t-shirt.
